Volunteering to make a difference!
We want each child participating in our programs to have a brighter future by developing to their fullest potential. We partner with families and various organizations to support children’s growth and development.
We carry out the mission by working as volunteers. As a team, we bring to the table years of experience gained in the private and public sectors. We work in underserved communities but we recognize that children across the socio-economic spectrum need community support.
We carry out the mission by providing:
- Direct services to “vulnerable” children and their families
- Administrative support and consultative services to small groups and organizations with similar goals
- Organizational development services to groups interested in developing new organizations and/or improving services to underserved communities
- Workshop planning services to groups and organizations related to personal and professional development
We need volunteers to assist with programs and activities related to teaching and coaching sports, housing development, workforce development training, consulting, producing content for marketing, and building relationships with community partners.
Community Partnerships:
We take pride in partnering with other organizations to provide support and deliver services to underserved communities. We support organization that may have limited resources to carry out administrative and program activities.
Our Specialized Services:
The Foundation provides administrative assistance to such organizations in the following areas:
- Teaching and coaching
- Recordkeeping
- Newsletter production
- Grant writing
- Volunteer/staff recruitment and training
- Project coordination
The Baher Foundation is recognized as 501(c)3 organization.
The Baher Foundation (a 501c3 organization) provides opportunities for children to reach their fullest potential using education and sports as a platform for development and supporting their families through housing initiatives.
