WHY WE CARE

For generations, our

family has focused on giving back to others. So it is only natural for us to establish the Baher Foundation. We do this to honor our family and the

sacrifices that they have made for us and others.

Giving back has taken on many forms in our family. Giving has ranged from small acts of kindness to two of our great grandfathers giving land to build two community churches. Our father spent a lifetime serving as a mentor to young men in the community. At young age, he served in army during World War II. His mother supported relatives attending college in Tallahassee, Florida. Our mother and maternal grandmother provided comfort and support to others through every day acts of kindness.

At an early age, we learned the value of giving back from family members who led by example. We have watched our grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles give back without hesitation. This legacy has been built on years of simply giving to those who are in need. We, too, have continued the legacy through the years along with other family members. It is at core of who we are, and that, is to serve others. We hope you will join us by supporting children in our communities and passing on the legacy of giving back to the next generation.
